Program Description

This program will teach you how to use various software for various applications (operating systems, application software, databases, etc.) while learning to carry out work on computer stations in stand-alone or network mode. You will also learn to analyze the architecture and operation of computer systems

Our 1800-hour program focuses on two skills as follows:

  • Mastery of job tasks: 780 hours

  • Extended Skills: 1020 hours

This program is structured as follows:

  • 20 courses whose duration varies from 30 to 120 hours each;

  • 2 compulsory internships of 120 hours each carried out in the workplace

*This DVS program is eligible for the program of student financial assistance from the Government of Quebec.

  • Develop utility programs
  • Install the physical and logical elements of a computer station
  • Manage access to network resources
  • Set up the shareable resources of a network
  • Restore the operation of a computer station
